Last week, a new temporary public restroom was installed in downtown Austin as part of a pilot program which will test the need for a more permanent solution. The facility is intended to benefit downtown visitors, runners, bikers, homeless individuals, and late-night crowds.
Our Downtown Ambassador team will monitor and clean the facility every day from 6 am to midnight. The portable restroom facility will be at this location for a month before it moves on to four other downtown locations.
