Austin doesn't brag about being the "Live Music Capital of the World" just for the fun of it — even though the music is a lot of fun! There are more than 60 live music venues in Downtown Austin and the bands are jammin' every day of the week. That number grows when South by Southwest rolls into town: if a club's got an open spot on the floor, it's a live music venue too!
