A Madison Square Arabian Night
"A Madison Square Arabian Night" is hosted by the J.C. Elkins O. Henry Literary Discussion Group, a monthly reading (and discussion) group focused on the short stories of William Sydney Porter (O. Henry)
and named after docent emeritus J.C. Elkins.
Brahmin Carson Chalmers receives a troubling letter bearing a foreign postmark. That same evening Chalmers dines in his fashionable Madison Square apartment with a homeless man, a down and out artist. Sometimes the answers to troubling questions come from the unlikeliest of sources.
This event is FREE! Newcomers welcome!
This reading may be held next door in the sister museum to the O. Henry Museum, the Susanna Dickinson Museum (411 E. 5th Street) if necessary.
