Accounting Coordinator

The Accounting Coordinator will assist our Controller in managing the overall financial activities of the organization. Primary responsibilities for this role include accounts receivable/accounts payable and general bookkeeping duties. Additionally, the Accounting Coordinating will work with our operations team to effectively manage service contracts.

Communication Coordinator

The Communication Coordinator will play a key role in helping to tell the story of our work and of downtown Austin. This position will support the organization’s internal and external communication through digital platforms, public relations, and event support. Primary responsibilities include developing visual and written content for social media and email marketing campaigns, maintaining and updating the website, and supporting outreach efforts to expand the presence of the Downtown Austin Alliance family of brands in the community.

research analyst

The Research Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and managing downtown Austin data. The position will work with relational, structured, and geospatial databases and will serve as the database administrator for our research systems.  This includes the maintenance of data tables, monitoring usage, and research trends, exploring data integrations, and coordinating staff training to enhance the effectiveness of our research efforts.

Movability Mobility Challenge Program Manager

Managed by the Downtown Austin Alliance, Movability is Central Texas’ only Transportation Management Association solely dedicated to helping commuters do more with their time by finding mobility options that work for them. 
The Mobility Challenge Program Manager reports directly to the Executive Director of Movability and plays a critical role in achieving the goals of Movability by coordinating this grant-funded program. Works in collaboration with the City of Austin Transportation Department, Central Texas companies, and other stakeholders to successfully manage and execute the goals of the Mayor’s Mobility Challenge.

Movability Communications Intern 

Movability is seeking a Communications Intern beginning in Fall 2018 to support and become a crucial part of the Movability team, working collaboratively on multiple high-priority organizational projects. The internship can be completed for course credit. We offer a flexible schedule, occasional remote work, and 15-20 hours per week.
